Trumper recommend only shaving after a bath or shower and preparing the skin with protective Trumper’s Skin Food; a Badger Hair Shaving Brush is the most comfortable and effective way of lathering. Thoroughly wet the brush and work up a rich lather with the Almond Hard Shaving Soap. You can increase the richness of the lather by working the brush in the palm of the hand or in a shaving bowl or mug, lightly dipping in water to add moisture if required. Lather the beard using a circular motion and shave in the same direction as hair growth. Rinse with cool, clean water and re-apply Trumper’s Skin Food to nourish the skin and protect against the elements. Apply one of Trumper’s fine fragrances to the back and sides of the neck for a well-groomed finish.
